WECT reported that Bailey Joe Mills, 34, and Elizabeth Mills, 35, both of Lillington, were each sentenced Thursday by U. Bailey Mills allegedly ran the day care and mentoring program out of his former home in Sanford to attract young girls and create a relationship with their parents. — A North Carolina couple has been sentenced to prison after a daycare and mentoring program operating out of a home turned out to be a child pornography production operation. Both must register as sex offenders and will serve lengthy probation terms after being released. The husband was sentenced to 45 years in prison and the wife sentenced to 16.
Bailey Mills was also accused of offering the girls money to have sex with men he found online.
Other people have been arrested in connection to the case.
Investigators said there is a video of one of the suspects committing a sexual act with a child.
Bailey Mills was originally charged with manufacturing child porn.
Elizabeth Mills was originally charged with aiding and abetting the manufacturing of child pornography. Officials have seized mobile phones and computers with digital photos and videos of minors engaging in sex acts.
