This time, MOAR lunch time doodles is the beginnings of an assignment.
Golden Age Champions is going to get a Kickstarter in August, but the art starts now.
That’s the cheapest murphy bed available, not to mention its modern elegance. And the best part is that it is so easy to build, all you will need is a power drill. That means no power saws, no sanding, no saw dust, no smelly stain, NO MESS!I left SE Asia for a couple of weeks and went back to Seoul to visit some friends.Thankfully it wasn’t as bitter cold as the last time I was there.
This visit I got to head out into the countryside and see the trees changing colors…it was a fun time.I still can’t wrap my head completely around 65+ year old hikers doing shots of soju when taking a rest…but there were a number of them doing it.While Korean culture seems to revolve around drinking and eating as a combined activity, there are some fun clubs and bars in Seoul (do your best to avoid Itaewon).I spent too much time at the humorously named Crazy Gun Bar.It has darts, pool and table football (no guns though…maybe they should get Big Buck World so they have something in the place that has a gun) and is a nice albeit a bit expensive place to spend and evening. Blue Monday has an amazing selection of vinyl (Tom Waits, Black Sabbath, Talking Heads you name it they likely have it) and they expect and want you to make requests….it’s like having your own personal DJ. Plus guy who runs the place (and is the DJ) is cool as hell…to me at least he gives off this ’70s hard rock/metal vibe. It’s hard for me to describe how to get there….it’s easy to get to, but you can easily pass by the place (trying to find in upon my return to Seoul we passed by it several times but I had the wrong name for the place stuck in my head which contributed).
